We are seeking Lead Data Engineers and Senior Data Engineers who will play an important part to develop the startup from Dubai. If you've ever wanted to know what the dark kitchen concept is - this is an opportunity to find out more!

The Lead Data Engineer will be an integral part of Tech teams, working as part of the Data department. Leading a team of 7-8 date engineers for the other data engineers from the same tribe.
Data Engineers are the data-providing partner for the organization's Product and Business teams. These engineers focus on helping the Product teams to build the best in class products to support growth, operations, and customer experience.

Depending on the level of expertise, our client offers:

Lead Data Engineer salary: 28 000 - 32 000 PLN net B2B (or up to 26 500 PLN gross UoP) + ESOP + 26 days holidays paid,

Data Engineer salary: 18 000 – 26 000 PLN net B2B (or up to 22 000 PLN gross UoP)+ ESOP + 26 days holidays paid,
 Remote, Hybrid (1 or 2 days a week from office in Cracow), possibility to work from Dubai,

Recruitment process: 3-step online process: technical interview + live coding + bar raiser interview.


  • Building Data Warehouses/Data Lakes, ideally based on cloud solutions, 
  • Building Data Pipelines based on Kafka events, working with Snowflake, DBT, Gitlab. 


Very good knowledge of:

  • SQL and Python
  • Experience in working with the Business and the ability to translate Business requirements to Technical requirements

You will be a perfect match for this position if you have
  • Relevant experience in the past for at least 8 years
  • Experience leading teams of up to 5 data engineers
  • Bachelor's degree in computers or engineering
  • Working proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Working proficiency in building ETL pipelines
  • Experience managing Data Warehouse
  • Practical knowledge of platform orchestrating processes (eg. Airflow)
  • Knowledge of Software engineering methodologies: eg. Unit Testing, CI/CD
  • Have experience working on AWS, Kafka, Snowflake, Airflow, Looker, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, DBT, or similar tools and technologies
  • Capability to work independently with very minimal supervision
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and effective presentation skills
  • A good team player with inclusiveness and constructive thinking
